Microsoft IT Academy @ WCC
IT Academy offers free, online, self-paced courses for learning Microsoft software.
Are you just getting starting learning to use Microsoft Office? Would you like to master Word, Excel, or Access? Discover the secrets of Windows 8? Learn to program in Visual Studio? Deploy Virtual Desktops on a server running Windows 2008 R2? IT Academy has courses for all these topics and many, many others.
These courses are often used to study for tests leading to certificates such as Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) that can lead to career opportunities.
To access ITA @ WCC, stop by the Reference Desk in the Library and pick up an Access Code.
You’ll also need access to a computer with internet access and Internet Explorer installed. When you’ve got those three things, go to the IT Academy website and get started learning!
