To Cite or Not to Cite? That is the APA/MLA Question This timely workshop teaches you how to avoid plagiarism, and how to cite information sources using MLA and APA citation styles. Bring your bibliographies, papers, or other works in progress for immediate assistance and feedback.
The Other Online Resource: Articles and Databases Did you know that the best articles for college research are not on the Web? In this workshop you'll learn about the differences between scholarly and popular information. You'll also learn to locate articles in academic journals, popular magazines, and newspapers using the databases from ProQuest, EBSCO and others.
Google Goes to College: Web Searching Search engines are fast and easy to use, but now that you're in college will your search skills be up to the challenge? In this class, you'll learn tips and techniques for finding the best web sources to meet your information needs. You will also learn to evaluate the quality and credibility of your search results.

Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Summer Quarter Hours
Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Closed Sundays.
Closed on Saturdays when the Monday following is a holiday.
Closed during breaks when the college is not in session.
Fall 2009 starts 9/21 and ends 12/10.
Winter 2010 starts 1/4 and ends 3/24.
