Reserves

The Reserve collection, located on the main floor of the library behind the circulation desk, is a special collection that supports the curriculum and houses course-related materials. Loan periods are assigned by instructors and are frequently restricted to library use.

Reserve Overdue Billing Policy
Due to the timeliness of the Reserve collection and the high demand for reserve materials, students will be billed for overdue reserve materials on a schedule separate from the general billing schedule. A $5.00 nonrefundable processing fee is attached to each billed item.

Two-hour reserves: Billed the following day
Overnight reserves: Billed the day following the due date
Three-day reserves: Billed three days after the due date

Repeat offenders will be limited to checking out reserve materials for library use only, for the remainder of the quarter.

To place materials on reserve...
Faculty members may place materials on reserve by bringing them into the library and filling out a
Request Form from our site, or available in the library and in faculty support offices. Resources may include textbooks, answer keys, solution manuals, videos, articles, or personal resources. All materials placed on reserve are listed in the Course Reserve Module of the Online Library Catalog. More information is available by consulting our Reserve policy and by contacting Ara Taylor, (360)383-3298.
