The Media Services Department supports the instructional media needs of faculty, staff, and students at WCC through production, assistance, and advice.

The Equipment Most of the classrooms on campus are already equipped with an overhead projector and have either a VCR and monitor or a full computer/video teaching station which includes a VCR and video projector. If you are unsure about the availability of equipment or would like advice or assistance on its use, please contact us.

Digital Imaging Lab: The Digital Imaging Lab is used to digitize instructional materials and to aid in the creation of visual aids for class and campus presentations. The lab consists of a flatbed scanner, slide scanner, digital cameras, color printer, high resolution monitor, CD burner, and image editing software. The digital cameras circulate to WCC faculty, staff, and students. The other equipment is operated and maintained by the Media Services staff.
Location and Hours: HNR306 (top floor of the Library) 7:30 - 4:00, Monday through Friday

International Television Programming
The library has a television in HNR301D with access to programming from other countries in other languages, such as Spanish, French, and German.
Instructions and information on channels and programming is available and stored in the room.
If the desired programming is at an inconvenient time or only available when the library is closed, a recording may be obtained by submitting a request to Jim Dodd ahead of time.

Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarter Hours
Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Summer Quarter Hours
Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Closed Sundays.
Closed on Saturdays when the Monday following is a holiday.
Closed during breaks when the college is not in session.
Fall 2009 starts 9/21 and ends 12/10.
Winter 2010 starts 1/4 and ends 3/24.
