Memorial Day Closure

The WCC Library will be closed on Saturday, May 25th and Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, May 28th.

Please join us at our 7th Annual Kumquat Challenge Celebration on Wednesday, May 15th, 11:30 to 1:00, in WCC’s Syre Center Black Box Theatre.

Due to WCC's 45th Anniversary Celebration event, the Library will close at 2:30 on Friday, May 3, not 3:30 as previously announced.

Souvenir Display

Library staff have brought in souvenirs from their travels to create a cosmopolitan feast for the eyes in the Heiner lobby display cases. Come view their eclectic selection of thought-provoking knick-knacks from all corners of the globe. Hurry--the display will be coming down within the next two weeks.

Winter 2013 New Library Materials

Letter from Birmingham Jail 50th Anniversary

The library has put up a display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Letter from Birmingham Jail. Come check it out!

Graphing Calculators for Spring 2013

Graphing Calculators will be available to check out for Spring Quarter starting on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 8:00am. Students must present their student ID and proof of registration in a math class.

Kumquat Challenge 2013

In celebration of National Poetry Month (April), the library invites the entire campus community to participate in the Seventh Annual Kumquat Poetry Challenge. Each year we publish a variety of poems by WCC students, faculty, staff, and board members. Click this post's title for details.

Hours During Break

During the break between Winter and Spring terms, the Library will be open on Mon. 3/25 and Mon. 4/1, both from 9 to 5. Running Start students may borrow textbooks on 4/1.

Calculators (and everything else) are due by 5pm on Friday, Mar. 22.

It's the end of the quarter, and that means everything you've checked out is due. Please return them all by the end of the day on Friday, March 22 -- we close at 5pm.

Library Closed Presidents Day 2013

The WCC Library will be closed in observance of the President's Day holiday on Sat. the 16th and Mon. the 18th of February. It will also be closed Tues. the 19th for Professional Development Day.

Closed on Saturdays when the Monday following is a holiday.
